In a response to this development, Profoto has created ProDaylight. ProDaylight is a continuous HMI light source with the same look and feel as any other Profoto product. It works in the same way, and it is mostly compatible with the same Light Shaping Tools. In addition, Profoto has developed new tools that are optimized for continuous light, such as the Cine Reflector, the HR Softbox Octa and the HR Lantern.
